Cape Cod was perfect New England, sans fall color. It's what we had imagined Martha's Vineyard would be. We choose another small inn type hotel in Hyannis that was really great.

The photo on the right was taken at Provincetown, which is purported to be where the pilgrims first landed. That was a new one to me. The visit there would have been much nicer if the streets hadn't been blocked by foot traffic from San Francisco's overflow.
The pictures below were all taken in Chatham, on the southeastern tip of the Cape. Chatham was without a doubt our favorite stop. Cape Cod is definitely on my list of places to see again.
