Because it is starting to get warm in Florida, we decided to skip the planned trip to Key West. Boot Key was just an anchorage with nothing new or unexpected. What a refreshing change.

This too was just another anchorage. After 11 days of not being on land, we were both getting pretty antsy to get off the boat. The long days on the water didn't leave much energy to get the dinghy down to accomplish this though.

Instead of anchoring at Noname Harbor, as we had planned, we headed on to Key Biscayne. What a good decision. This was a beautiful anchorage with the Miami skyline behind us. How good it was to see buildings again. Picking up the ICW the next day, we skirted Miami's downtown district and through the Port of Miami before reaching the North Atlantic.
